Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

STATE LINE, Ind. – Arthur Albert Crouch, age 80, of State Line, brother of Arthur Jordan of Covington Rt. 2, died at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Danville, Ill. Mr. Crouch was born Oct. 20, 1889 in Bismarck, Ill., the son of Daniel Julius and Rosy Muse Crouch. He attended State Line grade school and had farmed in the area most of his life. He was a veteran of service in the Army. Survivors include: three brothers, Warren Milton of State Line, Arthur Jordan of Covington Rt. 2 and Paul Lewis of Danville. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Pape Memorial Home in Danville. The Rev. Theodore Simonton officiated and burial was in the Masonic Cemetery at State Line.   -– jlr
